This “Home Sweet Log” Suet Feeder is made from solid New England Red Oak. (No trees were hurt or harmed in any way during this process). Each Suet Log Feeder measures approximately 14-15 inches long. The solid copper hook is about 5 inches long, making the total size of the feeder (including the hook) about 19-20 inches. The diameter of the feeders are 2-3 inches wide, and they all have 1 in diameter predrilled feeding holes. We then remove the bark and lightly sand each feeder. The Suet Feeders are then topped off with a piece of oak for the roof, which is glued onto the feeder. Each feeder is unique and has it’s own style, no two are alike, just like in nature.

The “Home Sweet Home” Suet Feeder is made from solid oak and measures approximately 6 in High x 3 1/2 in Wide and 2 inches thick. The fancy roof is also made from solid oak which overhangs on all sides. The roof is glued on and then a hole is drilled down the whole center of the feeder. The Copper hook is then driven through the hole to make the unique hook. Be creative with the hook on the bottom and hang something unique from it….a plant, yard ornament, hummingbird feeder, or how about another suet feeder! There is a limited supply on this particular “Home Sweet Home” Suet Feeder.

Birds LOVE clinging to the natural wood while they eat. Both styles of these feeders attract many birds including woodpeckers, chickadees, titmice, and many more. The birds love them both! Fill the holes with your favorite suet, or make your own like I do, it’s easy!
